As you may be aware, we were recently certified ISO9001:2015 – an achievement we are very proud of as it recognises the high management standards and continuous improvement culture that we always strive to achieve here at Kits-n-Bits.
The road to certification was not easy and involved some long days as we reviewed our current processes, but this gave us a great opportunity to identify areas where we could do even more to help our customers and as a result we are pleased to announce that from 01/09/2020 we are extending our standard warranty terms for all new HGV installations to include both parts and labour for 24 months from the date of fitment.
Cross checks and mobile installation
To maintain these standards we will need to ensure that all original installation dates are cross-checked against our records before authorising any warranty work, so we may need some extra details from yourselves before we can authorise any repairs. We’ll also need to check the serial numbers of any faulty components as part of our on-site checks so we may need a little longer with your vehicles at times, but this still includes mobile fitting across most of south Wales which we hope you will agree keeps us right at the forefront of vehicle safety installations in the area.
