Kits-n-Bits provides a professional mobile service to install new towing equipment or service,
repair towing electrics, or remove your existing towbar. Our service covers the whole of South Wales for individuals. Fleet and
trade accounts receive a UK-wide national service.

Coupling Types
All coupling types are available:
- ISO 3853 - 50mm standard towball
- BSAU24 - 25mm diameter pin and jaw coupling - 3.5 tonne
- AL-KO
Accessories
We supply various towing accessories, including:
- Handistep - tow step (for flange towbars)
- Bumper protector plates
- Towball and socket covers
- Adjustable and fixed drop plates and spacers
- Towing mirrors
MOT
Towbars and attachments are now part of the MOT test and further changes are due in 2012. Visual inspection for
wear, play, or inappropriate repairs or modifications, and continuity of the 13-pin electric socket are (or will be) covered.
Towbar Choices
Your choice of towbar is determined by the vehicle model, towing requirements, and preferences
such as fixed ball or detachable neck.
Detachable towbars provide practical and aesthetic advantages when not in use but command a
higher price than the simpler fixed alternative.
We can discuss the most suitable products for your
recreational or commercial requirements, whether attached to a family car, 4x4, motorhome or LCV.

Fixed Swan Neck Towbar

Detachable Swan Neck Towbar
- ISO 3853 - 50mm standard towball
- Compatible with AL-KO stabilisers
- Towball can be removed when not required
- No interference to reverse parking sensors when detached
