Nick founded Kits-n-Bits in 2003 after years of working in automotive technology for local installation companies. He is a font of knowledge about all things automotive & technological. He is mostly out of the office on site in the thick of it with our customers and rarely in the office at his computer. As a successful competitive swimmer himself, he now loves to spend his free time at the pool encouraging his own children while they train. When the summer comes you often find him racing his Thundercat in Cardiff Bay.
Claire joined her husband Nick as a co-owner of Kits-n-Bits in 2007. Together they have taken the business from strength to strength. Claire manages the day to day running of the office as well as the financial side of the business. When work time finishes and family time begins she is usually at the water’s edge cheering on her children and other members of the local lifeguard club in competitions. Many a weekend is spent in their caravan away with friends and family and she loves nothing more than a good night out with “the girls.”
Sian is part time and works based primarily in accounts. She feels a strong sense of loyalty towards Kits-n-Bits as it’s her brother’s and his family’s business and she’s watched their hard work building the business from scratch. When Sian’s not in the office, she’s very busy with her large family and her passion for the water. She is always challenging herself to various aquatic activities around the coast.
Alison joined the team at the beginning of 2015. Thank goodness her efficiency with paperwork has made Claire’s life a lot easier. When Alison is not getting the paperwork in order you can find her standing on the rugby sideline cheering on her son or booking her next family holiday, of which she has many.
Dave brought his 25 years’ experience of installing tow bars and towing electrics to the company in 2015. He has taken to the mobile job wonderfully and enjoys the change of driving between his jobs and seeing all areas of South Wales as he does. He has also become an expert in other products installed by Kits-n-Bits, particularly our dead and slam locks. Outside work, Dave’s hobby is restoring old Land Rovers to a pristine condition as well as spending family time with his wife and daughter.
Kursh works both on the road as a mobile engineer and in the office helping out with a supporting role. Kursh has spent many years working as an audio fitter and automotive parts salesman, with the last two years specialising in vehicle electronics, installing tracker units and electrical equipment to vehicles. When not at work he loves exploring the outdoors, but can be often found in the garage working on his Mazda MX5 project car, prepping it for drift and track.
Mike joined us in November 2016 to work mainly with our commercial clients and specialise in FORS compliance equipment. He has many years experience working on heavy goods vehicles on both the mechanical and electrical sides and is a great addition to our team. A motorbike enthusiast, Mike spends most of his free time working on his beloved bikes, but saves the summer months for camping trips with his family.
Andrea joined the team in January 2017 after taking time out from work to raise her 4 children. She currently works between the sales and admin departments at Kits-n-Bits and her phenomenal organisational skills keep us all in good order at the office. Andrea’s free time is spent between swimming pools with her daughter who swims for Cardiff Swimming Club, rugby fields with her youngest son and theatres with her eldest.
Rick joined us in February 2017 as our Sales & Admin Coordinator and you’ll most likely speak him to first if you call us for a quote. When not at work, Rick loves going to the gym and swimming but considers his favourite pastime to be eating, hence the need for the gym. He also loves driving especially through fantastic scenery. Although originally from Yorkshire he has lived in South Wales for most of his life considers himself lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Vicki works on our website, social media and various other projects we have ongoing at Kits-n-Bits, she’s particularly interested in the latest developments in vehicle technology. When she’s not working or taxiing children around, she’s on the tennis courts rain or shine.
